Enhanced Visitor Experience was founded by Warren Franklin, a longtime broadcaster and storyteller with more than 50 years of experience in radio, news, sales, and management.

For decades, Warren helped communities share their stories through the airwaves across Oregon. His work taught him something important…stories matter most when they are easy to access, well told, and experienced at the right time.

That belief still guides everything we do today.

A Deep Connection to Tourism and Community

In the 1990s, Warren served nearly a decade on the board of what is now Travel Salem, then known as the Salem Convention and Visitor Association. He also spent two years as its president.

That experience shaped a lifelong appreciation for tourism, community development, and the role storytelling plays in how visitors experience a place.

It also revealed a growing challenge: many visitor experiences begin too late.

By the time travelers arrive, decisions are already made.

Enhanced Visitor Experience was created to change that timeline.

Chris Cummings is a technology leader with a strong background in IT systems, cybersecurity, and infrastructure design. His work focuses on building technology that is reliable, secure, and quietly supports great experiences behind the scenes.

In addition to his work in IT, Chris has extensive experience supporting live events and venues through professional sound engineering. That hands-on involvement has given him a deep appreciation for how technology, when done well, can elevate an experience without drawing attention to itself.

Chris is also active in his community as a volunteer and supporter of local initiatives. He understands that technology is not just about systems and tools, but about connection, communication, and bringing people together.
